Abstract

This invention relates to methods and systems for supporting gNB-based sensing in advanced wireless communication networks. The proposed techniques enable a gNB to perform, coordinate, and support sensing operations using wireless signals and network resources. The methods facilitate integration of sensing functionality within cellular network infrastructure and support the realization of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) capabilities in next-generation wireless networks.
